Honey Garlic Salmon

Few ingredients work together as naturally as fresh salmon, garlic, and real honey. This recipe creates a beautifully caramelized glaze that is sweet, savory, and balanced with a touch of citrus. It is elegant enough for guests but simple enough for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each
  • 1/4 cup Mountainside Apiary honey
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Pat the salmon dry, season lightly with salt and pepper, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush each fillet generously with the honey glaze.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, brushing on another layer of glaze halfway through cooking.
  6. Remove the salmon when it flakes easily with a fork. Rest for two minutes, then garnish with parsley and lemon.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with roasted asparagus, wild rice, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, or a fresh garden salad.
